PenFed is hiring a Talent Sourcing Specialist (Remote) at one of the following locations: San Antonio, Texas; Tysons, Virginia; or Omaha, Nebraska. The primary purpose of this job is to assist in the growth of PenFed's overall candidate pool by providing sourcing support, executing assigned outreach plans, and participating in pipeline building activities to support for the efforts of the Talent Partner team. The incumbent's primary focus will be to increase success in filling hard to fill requisitions as well as boosting candidate applications for class-based hiring.



Responsibilities

  • Help build, maintain, and communicate with contact/candidate pools in our CRM. Support our recruiters and talent partners by following a contact plan to boost applicant flow when additional support is requested.
  • Initiate messaging and drip campaigns to support our high volume and class-based recruiting efforts. Initiate and respond to batch messages sent to prospects and members of targeted talent communities.
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, events and sourcing campaigns.
  • Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Talent Networks.
  • Maintain multiple requisitions simultaneously in an applicant tracking system (ATS) for a variety of positions from line staff to middle management.
  • Demonstrate strong sourcing skills/content/strategy to ensure you are on the leading edge of our digital sourcing efforts.
  • Foster and develop long-term relationships with target candidates for high-value future opportunities.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers and oversee all interview logistics, including conference room reservation and preparation, day-of scheduling, and maintaining an overall positive candidate experience.
  • Negotiate compensation, extend offers, and initiate the hiring and onboarding process for new employees.
  • Assist on project teams related to talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a strong business acumen and understanding of how supporting the department impacts the entire business.



Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience preferred, preferably as a recruiting coordinator, corporate recruiter, sourcer, or external agency recruiter.
  • Ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines for both short- and long-term hiring needs.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required, iCIMS experience preferred.
  • Experience with talent network platforms preferred.
  • Experience with a CRM platform preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be comfortable maintaining a presence on professional online networking sites.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role will not manage/supervise staff

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

Travel

Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
