JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Supports the management of MedStar Health’s robust sports partnership portfolio that ranges from professional level to the community recreational level while also managing community engagement activities. Responsible for assisting with strategic planning and execution of MedStar Health’s brand strategy with these sports and community partnerships. Minimum Qualifications Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or liberal arts. Experience: 1 year of related experience required. 1 year of sports marketing experience preferred. License/Cert/Reg: No special certification, registration or licensure required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Highly organized with a cooperative attitude toward co-workers, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Strong oral and written communication skills and strong organizational and planning skills. Outgoing personality for on-site activation events. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Primary Duties and Responsibilities 1. Manages sponsorship assets for all team partnerships. This includes planning, trafficking, and tracking of contractual team assets. 2. Communicates with team partners regularly to facilitate relationship. 3. Collaborates in the planning and execution of partnership activation opportunities. Ideates new opportunities to activate the MedStar Health brand through our sports partnerships outside of contractual assets (community initiatives, fan events, etc.) and through community activation opportunities. 4. Contributes to the campaign planning process for sports partnership creative alongside other members of the brand strategy team. 5. Ideates and creates social media content that promotes our sports partnerships and community engagement initiatives. Manages social media execution alongside the social media team. 6. Assists with the management of MedStar Health’s sports agency relationship. 7. Supports the Director of Partnerships in budget management for activation and creative development. 8. In partnership with the sports medicine team, regularly tracks patient volume and ROI from partnerships geared to driving patient volume. 9. Assists the Director of Partnerships in managing hospitality requests tied to MedStar Health sports partnerships. 10. Assists with the management of logistics in coordinating sports and community activation events. 11. Researches and contacts appropriate community event opportunities for potential MedStar Health brand activation. 12. Represents MedStar Health at sporting and community events as needed. There will be some occasional evening and weekend events. 13. Collaborates with internal partners to achieve objectives. 14. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. 15. Investigates and resolves problems. Takes initiative to determine appropriate action and resolution of various day-to-day matters, issues, and projects when determined to be within scope of authority. Exercises independent judgment with respect to real and potential problems and brings such matters to the attention of appropriate party with recommended action, when appropriate. 16. Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts. Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams. 17. Performs other duties as assigned
