Ensures plans and eligibility are administered in accordance with the plan document and in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.+ HRIS responsibilities include reviewing weekly reports to identify and resolve any data trends or issues, understanding of file layouts and translation of data transfers, working with internal and external partners as needed for file updates and corrections.+ Manages and supports annual Open Enrollment by assisting with the planning and execution of required open enrollment related tasks, including system configuration and testing.+ Oversees ACA compliance, ensuring required forms are distributed and filed by mandatory deadline dates.+ Responsible for the accuracy and timely remittance of payments to our benefit vendor partners.+ Researches and resolves any participant benefit related issues using appropriate resources and escalating when necessary.+ Ensures that the Knowledge Base and other resources used by the Benefits Service Center is accurate and current.+ Ensures that other benefits responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and understands end to end processes and customer experience.+ Manages the plan vendors; lead governance meetings and ensure expectations are clear and SLAs are met.+ Appropriately uses in-house and ERISA counsel to support ongoing plan compliance and address potential issues efficiently with applicable correction methods.+ Develops strong working relationships with key business partners in Payroll, Legal, and HRIS.+ Provides and interprets analytics and makes recommendations that create a strategic advantage and support Applieds business and talent strategies.+ Recognizes and addresses company-wide implications. Ability to be a thought partner to the Benefits Leadership team, and articulate a point of view with supporting information. Ability to see broad strategic HR issues and apply rewards programming/recommend alternative solutions.+ Supports/integrates acquired company plans as appropriate.**Knowledge**+ Strong technical expertise with Health & Welfare plan administration and compliance required.+ Thorough and detailed knowledge of U.S. benefits policies, practices, procedures, laws, regulations and system tools.+ Experience with ERISA self-insured health and welfare plans, and vendor management are also highly desired.**Skills and Abilities**+ Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills+ Business acumen and financial analysis skills+ Innovation, analytical, and creative problem solving skills+ Capacity to deal with ambiguity and risk taking+ Strong project management skills+ Strong vendor management and budget management experience+ Team oriented mentality; demonstrated multi-cultural skills+ Ability to travel+ Position requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times.
