Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage health plan end- to- end operations through vendor management and internal matrix environment
  • Product management and development through vendor, TPA/BPO services
  • Support ISNP clients with various back-office functions, including member marketing materials, compliance, claims management, website management, technology and reporting
  • Internal and external client facing communication
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to these strategies
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve capability performance/impact; share learnings with others to influence change
  • Use enterprise-wide thinking and business knowledge to solve problems, challenge current thinking
  • Pro-actively nurture and grow internal and external networks; build strategic relationships at multiple levels based on current and future business need
  • Lead capability strategy, understanding market, business and operations needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on specific marketplace and IT topics
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and external partners to gain an understanding of their business needs and adapt strategy, priorities and business plans accordingly
  • Address operational challenges with both technical and non-technical solutions
  • Lead change and innovation by pursuing opportunities to adopt new technologies and drive adoption to enhance business outcomes
  • Drive and manage high-quality execution across organizational lines

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of health plan or delegated health plan operations work experience
  • Medical claims experience and familiarity with Medicare / Medicaid products and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Medicare policy and compensation systems to ensure accurate operational execution
  • Experience with project management, internal performance reporting and health plan data interoperability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and developing associates

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
