UX Designer Position Summary
Responsible for analysis, design, creation and maintaining UX design and research standards for customers in the Federal Reserve System. Provide support and guidance across multiple development teams including analyzing data and collecting deliverables to support successful implementation of UX best practices. Keep abreast of current UX design and research practices.
Sr. UX Designer Position Summary
Responsible for analysis, design, creation and maintaining UX design and research standards for customers in the Federal Reserve System. Act as an advocate for the user through project coordination, coaching and mentoring staff as needed. Provide support and guidance across multiple development teams including analyzing data and collecting deliverables to support successful implementation of UX best practices. Keep abreast of current UX design and research practices.
UX Designer or Sr. UX Designer Essential Accountabilities

Education and Experience
UX Designer
• Two years of college and 5 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Master's degree and 0-1 years of related work experience.
Sr. UX Designer
• Two years of college and 7 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Master's degree and 3 years of related work experience.
Knowledge and Skills
• Fundamental design principles that affect typography, color use, composition, use of space, and presentation of information
• Fluent in HTML and CSS, including responsive design
• Web accessibility guidelines
• eCommerce web, mobile web, and UX design
• Implementing designs and creating test-ready prototypes in an agile development environment
• Extensive experience prototyping tools (for example, Axure, Balsamiq, Invisionapp, Figma)
UX Designer or Sr. UX Designer Physical Demands and General Working Conditions
• Traditional office environment: Employees typically sit most of the day, work with a computer and may answer/respond to phone calls. Physical movement consists of walking for meetings, breaks, etc. Ability to lift items weighing approximately 20 pounds on a limited basis is required. Employees may be required to travel by car/air.
