Job Description
An employer is looking for a full stack developer for their Global Data Science team within the Digital Manufacturing Operations division. They will be working within the data science team to streamline manufacturing and quality operations globally, through descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics tools. The goal of working within this digital manufacturing team is to get an understanding of business opportunities for the business to operate efficiently and effectively. They will be developing web applications which predict when something will happen, when a batch will be released from quality, or when material will arrive from 3rd party supplier. The other data science web application the developer will be involved with working on is optimization (what schedule is the most optimal, who is affected, who completes which batch tests in which order, etc). The key goal of this large initiative will be in understanding the opportunities and insight to help the business be more efficient and build tools to carry those insights into web applications that give access to data science end users. The candidate who will be successful in this role will be a well-established full stack developer resource with high quality tool development results, this team has a rigorous acceptance criteria for developers, they must show coding examples/complete coding assessments. They will need a strong ability to communicate with non-developers and business leaders.
Minimum Requirements
