Our technology team is seeking a Senior IT Specialist. As part of our technology team, specialists use state-of-the-art tools and technologies to deliver an exceptional user experience to our team members, customers, and pets. Senior IT Specialists are responsible for managing on-premise and cloud hardware and services. They are part of our corporate technology team providing support to team members nationally in all of our Pet Centers. 

This role supports multiple locations across the U.S. Primarily, it supports our team to ensure a successful migration and onboarding project with new Centers. Additionally, our existing customer base will use your skills as their business transforms and has different technical needs. Finally, you will work with engineering and development to refine the tools and platforms that you work with and on.


Senior IT Specialists must be authorized to work in the US. We will not provide Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

* Support multiple projects and manage the Cornerstone migration process
* Resolve problems with Microsoft Servers, Desktops, Mac systems, printers, networks, phone systems, camera systems
* Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365
* Updates MS Windows Servers and responsible for managing 100+ servers
* Work with the integration team to migrate Cornerstone from on-promise to Azure Cloud
* Order and set up new equipment, manage IT inventory
* Communicate on all open projects and give updates to both team members and Technology team staff

Required Skills

* Basic understanding and troubleshooting of switching, Meraki firewall, printers, MS Windows Servers, and MS Windows 10
* Support multiple projects and manage the Cornerstone migration process
* Effective communication skills. You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills that enable you to speak effectively with anyone and everyone who crosses your path
* Reliable. People know that they can rely on you to follow through and make things happen.
* Provide Tier 2 support for team members in our corporate office and national pet centers
* Enjoy communicating with and helping team members with a positive, friendly disposition
* Great communication skills, ability to listen, empathize and communicate with team members over the phone or email
* Learn quickly, self-starter, take direction well
* Exceptional troubleshooting skills, detail orientated
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* 2 – 5 years IT Support experience supporting Windows / Office 365 / Environments
* Basic to intermediate understanding of networking and networking principles
