- Robust Insurance Plan including company-paid Life, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Employee Assistance Plan(s)
- Matching 401(k) with immediate full vesting
- Paid Parental Leave

Context of this Role
We’re looking for a content connoisseur to develop and execute content strategies that drive traffic, generate leads, connect consumers with our products, and tell our brand story. That’s where you come in. You'll be responsible for determining which formats best communicate various types of content, by persona, throughout the buyer journey. Your writing should engage, educate, and entertain—while following SEO best practices.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Creative, and CX teams to synthesize our unique value, break it down for the various audiences we serve to deliver compelling messages across a range of marketing channels.
We’re a growing organization with a compelling vision and mission that we all are passionate about so we also have an element of everyone rolls up their sleeves and takes on a new project or two when / if the need arises. We love new ideas and initiative. We love it when people bring new thinking to the table, and we do our best to enable people to grow their strengths and not worry too much about the things they don’t love to do.
Essential Passions
- Content Connoisseur: skilled at unique content ideas and creating a plan for producing content that’s optimized for SEO
- Digital Marketing Maven: broad experience creating content across websites, email, social media, SEM/PPC
- Strategic Thinker: who can collaborate and perform extensive research to gain in-depth knowledge of all customer personas
- Results and Testing: you’re driven by getting better and better results, and seeking out the data to understand the results so you can test more new ideas
- The Product: how it works, the best way to show it off, how to talk about it
- The Market: you stay up to date on the latest technology trends in the market, what people are saying about us as well as competitors, what might be a new technology
- Working with Others: you are equally skilled at getting things done yourself as you are partnering and collaborating with others to get (a lot of) things done
- Good Vibes: you’re as happy working on your own as laughing with your teammates
Essential Skills
- Write content including blog posts, webinars, websites, infographics, videos, and other interactive content that is optimized for SEO
- Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed
- Manage content timelines to ensure adequate distribution of content across all channels in a timely and efficient manner
- Help maintain content marketing calendar
- Analyze content marketing data to identify trends and assess how well content is performing
- Collaborate with internal marketing team members to review metrics to create future editorial concepts and ensure content alignment
- Comfortable self-editing content while following FMG style guidelines to maintain a consistent voice for our brand
At the End of the Day
We want someone who has marketing campaign and content experience and will come in and not just execute on our campaigns but make improvements that will help accelerate our results. We want someone that can work with our team of marketers to up our game in this space and partner with sales to bring leads in.
