The BI Analyst is responsible for developing and generating reports, insights, & analysis across multiple systems. You will be expected to identify business, marketing, and product opportunities, challenges, and trends and be able to communicate your findings effectively to a variety of stakeholders. This role will be primarily focused on data analysis work related to Paramount+ and other streaming initiatives.Your Day-to-Day:Build and manage reports showing the health of key performance metricsWrite SQL to query a data warehouse (BigQuery) for data in order to answer questions from a variety of stakeholdersPresent insights and analysis to different teams and stakeholdersDevelop and maintain statistical and spreadsheet models for forecasting, scenario planning, and other predictive workWork closely with product, finance, and marketing teams to represent and capture business goals and initiativesDevelop automated dashboards and reports that allow non-data savvy users to generate insights and answer questions in a self-service fashionMake recommendations to the product, finance, and marketing teams on tactical adjustments to improve performanceSupport A|B testing tasks with exploratory analysis, sample size calculations, and test analysisKey Projects:Building dashboards (using Tableau and other BI tools) that illustrate how key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are changing over timeRefining reports, dashboards, and insights based on the needs of a rapidly changing businessLive Sports and Premiere Event reporting focused on content performance and audience acquisitionSupporting monthly and quarterly reporting initiativesDeveloping our standard reporting for product KPIs and questionsOwning the forecasting model for the portfolio of propertiesPerform Ad Hoc analysis on specific business problems and summarize findings in an accurate, concise, easy-to-understand mannerQualifications:You Have:BA/BS or equivalent training and experience in Business Analytics2-3+ years of experience in digital media with data analysis as a key component of the workCan provide accurate information in a usable form and on a timely basis.Can communicate clearly and succinctly, adjust to a variety of styles and audiences and tell compelling stories with dataProficiency in web analytics, video analytics (Adobe Analytics and/or other robust data solutions)Experience with SQL and/or other query languagesExperience with Python or other scripting languagesAdept with presentation tools and services (Google Docs, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)Must successfully pass a background checkYou might also have:Strong mathematics, statistics backgroundExperience using project management tools like those from Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)Experience using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)A background in SVOD/AVOD/TVE or other subscription-based digital servicesNearest Major Market: Los Angeles
