Company Overview
Harbor Compliance is a fast-growing technology company that is reinventing how nonprofits and businesses manage critical areas of compliance. An Inc. 5000 and Deloitte Technology Fast 500 honoree, Harbor Compliance is using technology to simplify the complexities of business licensing and legal entity management. We have scaled to 25,000 clients and are just getting started.
Position Overview
Harbor Compliance is looking for a savvy Product Marketing Manager to lead bringing our SaaS product to market. This is a new position in our Marketing Department, reporting to the Director of Marketing, but partnering closely with our Co-Founder/CIO on the product vision. Success is measured in driving SaaS revenue (and retention) through leading the product development lifecycle from market research through rollout. To qualify, candidates must have demonstrated success in specifically this: serving as a Product Marketing Manager in a fast-growth SaaS company.
Responsibilities
25% Marketing Strategy & Subject Matter Expertise
At the intersection of our company and the market is the Product Marketing Manager's in-depth knowledge of our product, clients, competitors, and industry trends. We believe there is no substitute for spending time directly engaged with the market in order to serve as a subject matter expert. The Product Marketing Manager is the voice for the SaaS product in internal discussions on strategy and author the Product Roadmap.
25% Agile Collaboration
After obtaining sign-off on the next User Stories on the Product Roadmap, the Product Marketing Manager collaborates with our CIO and Business Analyst(s) on the specific design, assists with UAT, and plans for training/promotion of feature releases. The Product Marketing Manager's role is to represent the voice of the customer in the software development lifecycle and serve as the conduit to communications with clients such as previewing a mock-up or participating in a Beta.
50% Marketing Execution
Half of this position is focused on bringing the SaaS product to market; a lot has been built already. Develop campaigns, execute many of them first-hand in our marketing tools, and collaborate with our Content Team and Development Team to produce more complex assets. Success in this portion of the Product Marketing Manager's duties means delivering the numeric results outlined in the strategic plan, adjusting quickly to new insights, and solving roadblocks.
