Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform quantitative analysis on Actuarial, financial, utilization and costs data
  • Develop and deploy predictive data models on large data sets
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with our broader product teams, while supporting ad-hoc analytics where needed
  • Design and run complex data programs
  • Execute creative problem solving and critical thinking on the job

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of Actuarial / Analytical / Data Science experience
  • 2 +year experience working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively
  • On the Actuarial exam path

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced level of proficiency using R, SAS, SQL, Azure Databricks, Python, .net, or other similar tools
  • Experience in large file transfers and/or manipulations
  • Experience in handling various file formats (JSON, csv, xls, delimited text files)
  • Experience and/or exposure in dealing with health care claims experience (i.e. understanding of costs, expected claims, diagnosis codes, procedure codes)
  • Experience and/or exposure to predictive modeling, clustering, etc.
  • Candidates on the Actuarial exam track, with a minimum of 2 exams passed
  • Experience within the health field - preferably consulting or directly with provider organizations

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
