We are hiring for a React Developer w/ SharePoint experience to support a government customer on a 100% remote basis. For this position, React experience is almost more important than SharePoint. We are looking for someone with strong demonstrated React. The project is building a complex React front-end that integrates with SharePoint, but doing very little with typical SharePoint out-of-the-box features/capabilities. This position is full time, permanent role.
ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform the full range of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities including analysis, design, development, test, deployment, and support within an Agile project environment for a new custom SharePoint-based web application.
- Design, develop, and test custom SharePoint applications using React and supporting technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs).
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members on technical approaches, ideas, and solutions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar is preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of overall experience in modern web applications development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Three (3) years recent experience and proficiency with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Two (2) years of strong SharePoint 2016+ development experience including using the SharePoint REST API to perform CRUD operations on data in SharePoint lists and libraries.
- Experience using Git and Jira.
