Opportunity

The Manager Global Product Data, as part of the Global Digital Transformation, CX Platform Team, will be responsible for establishing, managing, and growing a best-in-class Global Product Data team to support Kohler Co.’s Kitchen & Bath brands marketing teams across all regions. This team will be key to enable bespoke customer experiences across our digital properties. This role will be key in establishing repeatable and clear processes that ensure data integrity during the launch, enrichment, syndication, and discontinuation lifecycle of products.

Manager Global Product Data will be passionate about product data, excellent team leader, experienced in developing user guidelines, defining business workflows, and ability to influence, align and collaborate with other teams that participate in the product lifecycle.

Specific Responsibilities:

FunctionalSkills:

  • Maintains and manages the daily activities of the Global Product Data Operations team toensuredataintegritythat lookstoenableomnichannelexperiences.
  • Maintains and manages the daily activities associated with product attribution and enrichment.Coordinatemanagementofproducttaxonomy,hierarchies,attributes,anduseraccess.
  • Lead data modeling in partnership with IT, data standardization/normalization, data clean up,data migration/conversion, system configuration (business-led), workflow definitions, enableteamtoparticipateinuseracceptancetesting(UAT)toagileimplementationsofproductdatainformationrelatedcapabilities.
  • Leadtrainingteam/curriculumtosupportnew teammembers,andbusinessteams.
  • Act as a key stakeholder to Product Data Agile team. This role will work together with DigitalProductManager,ProductDatatoinformProductInformationDatavisionthatwillresultinnewproductdata digitalcapabilitiesandoptimizationof existentcapabilities
  • Supporthiringandonboardingofnewteammembers.
  • Setkeyperformanceindicatorstomeasureteam’sperformance withafocusoncontinuousimprovement for product data quality. Define, align and communicate SLAs to all businessteams.
  • Gain deep understanding of product data ecosystem capabilities and maximize andcommunicateasakeystakeholdertodigitalproductmanager(s)newcapabilityneeds.
  • This role will collaborate with Global Technical Communications Team, Regional DigitalExperienceTeams,ERP(SAP)MasterDataTeams,Global/RegionalProductMarketing Teams,GlobalEngineeringTeams,CorporateCommunicationteams(DAM),DigitalProductManager, ProductData,TranslationMgr., andexternalpartners.
  • Driveandleadglobalchange managementandproductdatasystems/processadoptionthrougheducatingandproactivelyinfluencingbusinesswithafocustoincreasebusinessvalue.
  • Leadteamtocreate,maintainandcommunicateglobalstyleguidethatrepresentsourKitchenand Bath brands tone and voice. Collaborate with Global Product Marketing, TechnicalCommunications,andChannelMarketingto understandmarketneeds.
  • Act as a key decision maker/approver for product information standards and schemas withinPIM and Datamart(customsolution)that meetbusinessneeds.
  • Subject matter expert of Kohler Co’s Product Data ecosystem. Deep knowledge of brand’sproductcatalogues,andcloselyalignedwithProductMarketing global/regionallaunches.
  • Createandhandlebusinessrules,processes,andworkflowsdirectlyinPIMtosupportstandardwork andquality improvements.
  • Primarilyresponsibleforleadingateamthatprovideourglobalcustomerswithaccurate,consistent,complete,andup-to-dateproductinformationonlineinlocallanguages.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Computer Science, orequivalentexperiencerequired
  • 5+ years of experience working in Global Product Data Management (eCommercecataloguemanagement) required
  • Strong proficiency with Product information Management Systems (PIM) such as inRiveror similar required
  • Experience in definition and implementation of data governance experience and leadinghighperformingteams within afast-paced environment required
  • Strongdataanalysisanddetailedorientedwithastrongsenseofquality
  • Excellentcommunicationskillsandsomeexperienceworkingwith,reportingtoandtrainingbusinessdomainusers
  • UnderstandingofSEOandCommerceexperiencepreferred(B2B/B2C)
  • Abilitytoread,write, andspeakMandarinisastrongplus
  • Travel20-30%, both domestic and international
