Description

he Senior Business Analyst provides expert functional and technical support for the global Human Capital Management System (HCMS) function through business process optimization. This position collaborates in the prioritization, planning, design, development, testing and deployment of new HR technology solutions, enhancements to existing solutions, and continuous process improvements. This position will also provide superior customer service by consulting with HR Partners and business stakeholders to define business requirement needs and provide solutions to those needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand business processes and underlying informational and/or process automation needs, and translate those needs into formal, documented business requirements/functional specifications.
  • Act as a liaison to the system development team.
  • Act as a liaison to internal and external vendors to support and troubleshoot file layouts for inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize multiple projects while working towards defined deadlines.
  • Participate in project plan design and adheres to project timelines to meet defined goals.
  • Ensure project progress is reported on assigned tasks in a clear and timely manner to all levels of management
  • Develop and execute test scripts, and analyze expected results. Coordinate user acceptance testing and signoff as required.
  • Define and outline implementation and contingency plans.
  • Recommend and/or perform appropriate business user training, workshops and documentation.
  • Provide tactical direction on Human Capital Management (SAP SuccessFactors) product functionality as well as support ancillary HR technologies.
  • Initiate and monitor all change requests to ensure timely and accurate solutions, as well as projects following appropriate project management methodology including gathering and defining comprehensive project requirements.
  • Define and follow project management methods, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in Human Capital Management, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in support of business objectives and goals
  • Coach, mentor and lead business analysts towards successful outcomes.
  • Participate in special projects, as requested.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; education concentration in Human Resources, Information Technology or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ demonstrated interface design and support experience, with the ability to read and write functional specifications.
  • Human Capital Management System (HCMS) experience, SAP SuccessFactors required
  • Demonstrated functional understanding and knowledge of HR processes and workflows.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Vendor management experience preferred.
  • Highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently, meet deadlines and escalate appropriately to management.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical constituents.
