Job Description:
The Financial Quality Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining system integrity and completing data validation to support accurate month-end financial billings for our customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed analysis and validation of financials to ensure data integrity is maintained throughout the system.
• Prepare internal/external financial reporting.
• Analyze purchase spend of $1.8B and $99M in total volume allowance each month.
• Ensure that accurate manufacturer invoices for over 850 contracted manufacturers are generated from proprietary database.
• Present findings to management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication.
• Learn and demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the various processes QC is responsible for, including customer, distributor, and manufacturer.
• Validate biliing accuracy and quantify impact analysis for over 700 manufacturer changes per month.
• Resolve customer challenges for over 85 sectors, including ad-hoc requests and concerns.
• Reconcile over 100 invoice discrepancy disputes per month submitted by the business or suppliers.
• Formulate new methodologies to effectively perform QC processes.
• Ensure that all dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel are carried out ethically.
• Moderate travel required to the Charlotte office.
Qualifications:
• Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience
• 5+ years purchasing and/or contract management experience
• General understanding of business/contractual terms and conditions
• Financial analysis, trend analysis, and/or audit experience preferred
• Flexible/adaptable to change
• Collaboration - Works well as a member of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Motivated/self-starter
• Working with units of measure/conversions and complex calculations
• Prior foodservice experience is preferable
• This position requires a detail-oriented team player with excellent follow-through
• Must have willingness and flexibility to work lengthy hours during month end close
• Computer Skills - Advanced level knowledge of Excel with heavy use in pivots and V-Lookups; basic Access skills.
