Purpose of Role
Join our fast-growing and closely-knit organization as Account Manager - responsible for managing the delivery of effective and creative PR solutions, building strong relationships with the media and client teams and managing internal teams and processes skillfully.
You'll join a strong team of fellow associates to help our leadership team drive the continued success of our award-winning company. We seek a self-starter with strong PR skills and a proven track record.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic planning, media relations, press releases and pitches, quarterly reports, and budgets
  • Act as primary contact to clients, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address client's needs
  • Aid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation
  • Develop PR strategies and execute powerful campaigns
  • Supervise junior staff
  • Create and implement PR plans
  • Draft compelling pitches, press releases, articles and abstracts
Scope of role
Account support for a wide range of clients or various sizes, which may be local or in other parts of the U.S. Some clients may be international.

Key Relationships
Internal - account team and other department members, colleagues across the business, including international when applicable.
External - client team, journalists, media professionals and vendors.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5+ years of agency experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, English or related field
  • Has sharp business and PR acumen to quickly determine short and long term priorities for self and junior team members to ensure all client needs are met
  • Must be compelling presenter, public speaker and new business contributor
  • Experienced in managing and working on a diverse range of technology accounts
  • Strategic, analytical thinker with the initiative to see a program through from start to finish
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple assignments and changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Functions well as a member of a team
