OVERVIEW
Candidate will author Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) to support our customer's regulatory program in this entry-level scientific position. This is a non-lab role.
Note: Open to remote or local candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Author SDSs to provide correct and up to date information to customers within the United States and Internationally Hazard evaluations for chemicals and raw materials Review compliance and regulatory information for raw materials Review toxicological literature for raw materials Assist with overflow regulatory compliance projects Chemwatch authoring system data maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, toxicology, or other scientific discipline 1-5 years of chemical regulatory experience Database management skills – Chemwatch experience preferred Strong computer skills Familiarity with regulatory programs (OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc) preferred Knowledge of chemical hazard information and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements Detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent people skills to get things done and negotiate as needed IND2
