What you’ll achieve Our customers’ system requirements are usually highly complex. Bringing together hardware and software systems design, Server Comms & Accelerators Engineering operates at the very cutting edge of technology to meet them. We design and develop embedded and peripheral communications and accelerator products, conduct feasibility studies on engineering proposals and prepare specifications and instructions. We’re proud to deliver programs and products to the highest quality standards, on time and within budget. You will: Our team delivers communication and accelerator devices for Dell Infrastructure Solutions Group, including for servers and storage solutions. We work with the leading technology partners in the industry on Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband and Omnipath devices, as well as GPU-, FPGA-, and ARM-based accelerators. This includes SmartNICs, which are also known as Data Processing Units (DPUs) and Infrastructure Processing Units (IPUs). The Sr. Manager leads a team of engineers delivering these products, including hardware, firmware and software engineers. Maintains strong relationships with technical partners. Collaborates with Marketing, Procurement, Program Management, and other Engineering teams. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, EE or CS preferred 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience 4+ years of technical leadership experience, but not necessarily as a manager Desirable Requirements Experience designing or testing Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband or Omnipath devices; or GPU-, FPGA- or ARM-based accelerators.
