Senior Systems Analyst - Scrum Master

American National is currently looking to add a Systems Analyst to our team, with the ability to work remotely within the U.S. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the business area representatives to discover, analyze and document the existing business processes.
  • Design and document the improved and/or automated business process and document the related user stories/requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate projects/large work efforts in a ScrumMaster role using the Agile development methodology.
  • Use appropriate Microsoft Azure Dev Ops to organize, manage and report status on work efforts
  • Schedule and lead/facilitate regular status meetings, playbacks to the business and any other meetings necessary to the project or work effort.
  • Serve as liaison between developers and business community to resolve questions/issues related to software requirements and design.
  • Coordinate/assist with testing of delivered code
  • Qualifications:

  • IT or Business Administration Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service and analytical skills are necessary
  • Ability to provide leadership to large business process improvement projects
  • Familiarity with workflow/process improvement concepts
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with constant change in a more than satisfactory manner
  • Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Preferred:

  • Experience with Guidewire’s Insurance Suite
  • ScrumMaster Certification
  • Hiring Practices
