RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Cupertino, CA that is seeking a Reliability Engineering Program Manager. This position will be remote until it's safe to return to their campus. Responsibilities of a Reliability Engineering Program Manager:
  • Track module REL sample allocations and manage sample delivery to fulfill reliability test matrices
  • Reliability Engineering Program Manager will track bring-up of module REL operational & functional testers and highlight the blockers, in collaboration with tester vendors, the labs and teams
  • Work closely with reliability engineers and test engineers for build reliability readiness, prepare & document reliability readiness review (RRR) across labs and outside vendors
  • Reliability Engineering Program Manager will guide vendors to support test and reporting requirements, through remote communications
  • Monitor reliability test schedule per Gantt chart, actively track the status and highlight potential delays
  • Summarize reliability test results weekly based on vendor reports, using Rel summary templates provided
  • Reliability Engineering Program Manager will work with reliability engineers to track FA status weekly, using FA tracker template provided
  • Learn and understand design analysis such as DFMEA and FEA, reliability test justifications & protocols, data collection requirements & methodologies


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MS or higher degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in reliability testing and reporting, consumer electronics is preferred, but not necessary
  • Capable of handling multiple projects with strong attention to details
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accept new tasks, with clear understanding of priorities and expected outcomes
  • Capable of delivering the tasks on time with high quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic statistical analysis skills and familiar with Microsoft Excel; JMP/Tableau is preferred, but not necessary
  • Knowledgeable on failure analysis techniques (optical microscopy, x-ray/CT, SEM/EDS, FIB, etc.) is preferred but not necessary
