Responsibilities:
Design and delivery of code components and modules.Collaborate with fellow developers to design, develop, implement, and support complex business software solutions.Participate in development; oversees code reviews and sets standards for development practicesEstimate individual and group work effort for delivery of tasks.Collaborate with subject matter experts, various stakeholders.Support resolution of defects during application testing phases.Mentor, coach and train team members and peers, both internal and vendor partners, to enforce development guidelines and best practices.Work closely with the architecture team to ensure that the technical solution designs and implementation are consistent with the architectural vision.Work closely with development team, BA’s, App managers, QA test leads and architects using Agile methodology.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciple with a minimum of 3+ years of work experience in IT.Strong programming skills in Java and Python.1+ years Cloud/AWS experienceThe applicant must have of hands-on experience and skills in Java, Github, JSON, XML, REST, SpringBootExperience developing Restful APIs and MicroservicesExperience working with agile development teams, methodologies, and toolsets.Experience in developing unit test suites and test-driven developmentExperience with DevSecOps and working with CI/CD pipelines and source control branching strategiesExperience with application performance testing and tuningExperience with data science technologies like R and Python programming is a plusCompensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$82,160 - $123,240
