A high-tech commercial bank is looking for a Technical API Product Owner to join their team. This person will be responsible for driving the end-to-end product requirements for the API platform. They will also be gathering technical requirements from the product and engineering teams and putting them into user stories using JIRA/Confluence. Furthermore, this role is specifically supporting the API Team, and this person will need to have previous experience working with API engineering teams. Lastly below is a more detailed list of responsibilities. Compose user stories for implementation, including acceptance criteria and suggestions for testing Analyze, writes and elaborate user stories based on required functionality as well as technical capabilities (works with both the Product Owner and Delivery teams) Data analysis, integration, process, workflow, UI analysis and requirements Primary interface between delivery team and a specific business unit/product Identifies needs of the users/customers and recommends alternative methods for meeting those needs Primarily engages during execution and release phases Understand the goals of the technology product / platform and incorporate into the planning for technical backlogs, providing prioritization and sequencing to maximize business value Provide prioritized stories from the product backlog to the agile teams and participate in team planning meetings Provide advice, clarification, and guidance during the execution of each development sprint Minimum Requirements- 7+ years of Technical Product Owner experience, specifically working with APIs and API engineering teams- Must have hands on experience using JIRA and confluence, as these are the main tools used to create stories in this role- Experience with APIs, Services, and integrations, as this role is solely supporting the API Engineering team- Must have a strong understanding of API concepts such as API design, API Management, Developer Portals, Hybrid architecture, APID development lifecycle, etc.- Must have excellent communication skills and presentation skills Desired Skills- Familiarity with SCRUM and SDLC processes
