Our Practical Law Intellectual Property & Technology editorial team is looking for an intern who has completed their first or second year of an ABA-accredited law school to join us part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) through December 31, 2021.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Practical Law Intellectual Property & Technology Intern you will:

  • Conduct legal research on various legal intellectual property and technology law-related topics.
  • Engage in quality assurance with respect to Practical Law Intellectual Property & Technology content.
  • Assist in assembling content, including legal updates.
  • Summarize changes to primary law.
  • Provide additional support, as needed.


  • About You

    You're a fit for the role of Practical Law Intern if you:
  • Demonstrate strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate an ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately.
  • Have an impressive command of grammar, punctuation, and plain English.
  • Consistently pay strong attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
  • Can work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects.
  • Have experience using Westlaw and Microsoft Office products.
