Do you have a growth mindset? As the Citrix Strategic Business Development Representative, you'll drive account penetration of entire Citrix portfolio in emerging markets through strategic Federal program sales motions with the mindset of a growing the market via partner development. This role will be remote, but you should be located in the Washington DC Metro RegionYou'll provide coverage for territory (territory of at least 250K+ seats) but not manage individual accounts. You'll be developing and managing territory consisting of Federal Systems Integrators, strategic partners, to improve Citrix market share and revenue. In this role you'll lead annual territory business plan focused on the capturing strategic Federal programs. You'll collaborate with partners to drive deals including being responsible for a deal from pricing negotiations to contract development to order fulfillment, working closely with partners and/or inside sales developing and closing the deal. You'll own lead generation and management of pipeline, as well as running a strategic program forecast, in collaboration with the territory account managers. You'll work to build positive relationships with sales and account teams at managed partners. Job Summary: You leads all aspects of the development of strategic program in the Federal market. Identifies and develops partnerships with large Federal Systems Integrators, to go after large program capture and establish relationships with systems integrators for US Public Sector Primary Duties: • Evaluate sales strategies for improved number of opportunities and increased pipeline• Decide the key influencers of sales success resulting in improved win rate of pipeline• Verify that the field is successfully trained in order to improve the number of deals• Decide relevant information for rep communication thereby resulting in active participation by field• Provide detailed executive communication to improve understanding by executive leadership• Experience qualifying prospects and customers; understanding of the sales cycle process• Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities.• Identify and support closure of at least 1 new opportunity through an FSI worth $1m• Identify at least 4 opportunities worth at least $2m each through an FSI• Includes signed teaming agreement and Citrix written into their proposal (RFP, RFI, RFQ)• Develop executive level relationships with at least 3 Federal SI's that are Citrix targets• Get Citrix Workspace solution demonstration in at least 3 Federal SI's center of excellence• Target at least 2 large contract vehicles owned by the FSIs• Develop knowledge of Citrix solutions and be able to give the Vision presentation as well as the whiteboards for Workspace and NetworkingKey Responsibilities:• Identify account planning opportunities for larger accounts across the lines of business, and manage the creation of account plans• Review data mining analysis, and work with Subject Matter Specialists, to identify new opportunities for each line of business (LOB) • Manage the consumption of field communications and available assets to ensure sales reps have timely information for their sales efforts; create new assets as needed• Review KPIs for each LOBs SVP, and check in with those SVPs to identify unique needs for their LOBBasic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
