The Role:

In this fast paced and highly visible role, you will serve as a strategic advisor and consultant to executive leadership conducting full-cycle recruitment to attract extraordinary top level talent to the organization. You will leverage diverse networks to source candidates and provide white-glove service throughout the process. You will interact with internal leaders and stakeholders presenting viable talent and providing meaningful updates regarding the positions you are assigned.

Position Purpose:

 Develop and leverage executive level networks of top diverse talent to fill positions at Centene with an emphasis on Executive Level hiring. Interact with senior most executives of the organization on a regular basis and provide a “white glove” service for executive recruitment. Serve as a lead for other Talent Acquisition team members and as a subject matter expert on environmental factors that impact executive hiring.
  • Conduct full lifecycle executive recruitment as determined by business needs, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for assigned job searches, including complex and high level job searches
  • Proactively build global executive candidate pipelines utilizing various sourcing channels, including direct sourcing, professional networks, social media, internet search, database search, etc.
  • Attend relative professional association and career events to master current industry knowledge and practices for relevant positions
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews, coordinate executive assessments and summarize results in professional dossiers with recommendations on next steps
  • Consult with executive leaders to recommend and identify most qualified applicants
  • Perform compensation analysis and prepare and extend competitive offer packages
  • Research, recommend, and implement innovative sourcing methods and improved processes
  • Lead recruitment projects related to new business and expansion initiatives
  • Serve as a lead and resource for other Talent Acquisition team members

  • Knowledge/Experience:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years of full lifecycle recruitment experience with 2+ years hiring senior level executives. Additional high volume, fast paced environment experience preferred. Experience working with “C-suite” executives required. Considerable knowledge and experience in the principles, practices and procedures related to executive recruiting and executive compensation negotiations. Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, Applicant Tracking System and HRIS applications. Healthcare experience preferred.
