General Description of Position:The Part Time Recruiter is a position that is grant supported position that will assist the Admissions department in recruiting and converting students to enrollment. Major Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility for this position is increasing application conversion for an assigned case load of applicants and inquiries to Ivy Tech. This includes moving students through the enrollment steps to enrollment at Ivy Tech Terre Haute Campus. This responsibility is primarily handled via outbound telephone calls to applicants to Ivy Tech Terre Haute. Calls should not be initiated any earlier than 10 a.m. and may be found to be most effective in the afternoons/early evenings.

Utilization of the college CRM is critical to this role.

Utilization of Microsoft office suite is expected along with utilization of the Ivy Tech enterprise system, Banner.

The ability to successfully work independently and regular communication to the Director of Admission/Recruitment is essential.

Tracking of contacts for the grant that supports this position is expected.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Position requires sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of the College students and employees.

 Fully supports the College’s mission and strategic plan initiatives.

 Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome. 

Experience in technical platforms (Teams, Zoom, CRM, Microsoft office, Banner)

Proficiency in Word, and Excel required

Preferred Qualifications:Associate Degree or equivalent work experience. Other Requirements:
