DescriptionJoin a talented team of Engineers to help create breakthrough ITOps and AIOps software in the era of cloud, micro-services, serverless and virtualization. We are seeking individuals with knowledge in Systems Management and/or Systems Monitoring Software and/or Performance Management Software with insight into Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes based microservices, to expand the depth and breadth of Zenoss Cloud. As a member of the engineering team you have the opportunity to test, debug, and automate best of breed cloud software and an opportunity to work directly with customers, support and operations team to identify, prioritize, and resolve product issues. We offer a healthy work/life balance, a positive work environment and a host of amenities to enable our engineering team to do its best work.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Document user scenarios and test cases through direct interaction with developers, customer support, operations, and feedback from the Zenoss customers and communityWork with other quality assurance (QA) and automation engineers to define and publish quality metrics, software performance and scale metrics Create and administer test environments consisting of various types of cloud, physical & virtual servers and network infrastructureExecute manual and automated tests, analyze issues, work with engineering, operations and support to debug and resolve issues early in the release cycleQualifications2 to 5 years of software testing, quality assurance and test automation experience BSCS or equivalent work experienceExperience using and testing enterprise softwareExperience creating manual and/or automated test scripts using custom, open-source, or commercial test automation toolsExperience in detecting, isolating and characterizing product issuesExperience with Python / Ruby / Javascript / Selenium / Cucumber Other useful skills include exposure to Cloud (GCP or AWS), Containers (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, Windows Server, Version control and test case management tools Eager to take on new challenges and proactively develop new technical skillsMust be results-focused, team-oriented, attention to detail with a strong work ethicEffective verbal and written communication skillsCandidate's Work Status is limited to only those legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship.No third party candidates, please.
