Area Director of Hospice Operations Opportunity Description

Our client is a well-established and growing Hospice provider. They have a current need for a Area Director of Hospice Operations to oversee a multi-site territory. Candidates can be based anywhere in the Mid-West or Mid-Atlantic areas as long as they are near an airport that will facilitate significant travel. Senior clinical and operational leadership in Medicare certified Hospice is required. A RN is a must. We are looking for a hands-on, team orientated leader.

Area Director of Hospice Operations Job Requirements

  • Multi-site Hospice operational and clinical leadership.
  • Clinical, operational, and financial management skills.
  • Registered Nurse required.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75%
  • Area Director of Hospice Operations Job Responsibilities
  • Leadership of Hospice operations across multiple sites.
  • Oversite of directly reporting branch leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with state / federal rules and quality clinical outcomes.
  • Promote positive culture.
  • The compensation scale listed is a general salary range and is not intended to represent the actual annual or hourly compensation rate for this role. An offer will be made to the selected candidate at the conclusion of the interview process based on their relevant experience and the responsibilities of the position. Our client does offer a competitive compensation package potentially including incentives, health and dental insurance, PTO, retirement plans (401K) and opportunities for professional development.  Despite the Covid-19 Pandemic, our client is committed to filling this position with a permanent, full-time hire.
