Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Director of Project Management will be responsible (across that Client Delivery Organization) for:
  • Setting up a centralized Project Management Office and all associated implementation processes in alignment with industry best practices (inclusive of change management, risk/issue management, schedule management)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to lead team of up to 10 people
  • Interact with Business Unit CEO and other senior executives to report on Organizational status
  • Drive process standardization and compliance across delivery organization (including project management, CMS certification and SDLC processes)
  • Establishment of project governance processes
  • Roll out tool standardization across organization
  • Implement centralized reporting across large delivery organization - including creation of project dashboards and reporting to the executive leadership team
  • Directly lead a team of Project Managers and Process Consultants in implementation projects for State Government clients
  • Indirectly lead across the organization through collaboration and influence

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification (or 10 years of equivalent work experience an ability to demonstrate PMBOK knowledge)
  • 5+ years of Medicaid or State Government industry experience
  • 5+ years of new system implementation experience in a project leadership capacity, preferably within Medicaid and/or Healthcare industry
  • 4+ years of Director level experience
  • Experience with MSPS Enterprise Server for managing and reporting against consolidated project schedules
  • Dashboard reporting experience (ex. Tableau)
  • Demonstrated experience in working across matrixed organization to achieve results
  • Travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering solutions in a CMMI-rated level organization
  • Knowledge of CMS certification process

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $110,200 to $211,700.
