OVERVIEW

:

Skillsoft is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to own product marketing strategies for our global, B2B Compliance product. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing will be a conduit for the voice of the customer to the product, sales, and marketing teams. In this role, you'll direct a cross-functional, agile team and drive the creation and execution of strategies that deliver compelling messaging and content to our target audience. The goal is to accelerate growth for Skillsoft Compliance, a product created to help companies foster sustainable, safe, and inclusive work environments on a global scale. 

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Leadership: You'll guide an agile, cross-functional team of customer market and sales managers, product managers, and markers, be accountable for achieving KPIs, and report to Senior Management regarding performance goals. You'll have an opportunity to have a powerful impact on the success of a flagship product. 
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: You will understand our customers' needs and deliver compelling messaging across channels and partnerships to effectively communicate the value proposition of our brand and product in a way that is meaningful to our target audience. 
  • Go To Market Strategy: Leading the intersection of product management, marketing, and sales, you'll implement successful go-to-market and launch strategies for new products and features.
  • Demand Generation and Customer Focus: A strong marketing mindset, proven demand generation strategies, digital marketing insight, and customer focus are essential. You'll work collaboratively to deliver enterprise-wide demand generation campaigns that unify and amplify brand position, customer value, and ongoing customer communications.
  • Pricing and Modeling: You may work closely with the Customer Market Leaders (GMs) and Corporate Strategy team to design the optimal packaging and pricing strategies for our products.

    DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent experience, MBA is a plus.
  • At least ten years of product marketing experience and a strong track record for implementing high-performing marketing plans across channels.
  • Expertise synthesizing customer, product, and marketing data to make performance-based recommendations. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
  • A drive for continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Highly motivated, positive attitude, and passionate about building profitable businesses.
  • Track record of working with executive management.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
  • This is a fully remote position on a dispersed team.
