If so, this might be the perfect role for you.The Compliance Analyst is responsible for auditing and training on US Customs related processes to ensure branch compliance with US Customs regulations. These responsibilities include supporting Customs Entry Writers, helping to maintain satisfactory compliance scores, as well as regularly communicating with branch clients to ensure compliance of entry transactions and import programs, all while demonstrating strong customer service and organizational skills.If this all sounds good, let's talk more about what you'll be working on.Our hybrid work model gives you the flexibility and choice so you can create a career that enhances your life. To ensure you have what you need to be successful, we provide an in-person onboarding and training process. After that, you are all set to work remotely 1-2 days/week.Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Perform branch customs audits and provide feedback in order to maintaining satisfactory compliance scores for the following: US Corporate Compliance Audits, Branch QLCB Audits, VIP Account Audits and In-Bond AuditsProcess and monitor Entry Cancellations, Post Summary Corrections, etc.Support clients in responding to Customs Forms 28, Customs Forms 29, Entry Resolution Requests, etc.Handle Customs and PGA correspondenceProvide guidance to brokerage employees on how to respond to customer and government inquiriesAdminister applications, renewals, and invoicing of Continuous BondsReceipt and maintenance of client Powers of AttorneyExecute and maintain Daily Filter Reports via ABI SystemHandle and oversee the branch Automated Clearinghouse StatementRetrieve ACE Portal Reports for clients set up on Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS)Host department trainings to keep brokerage employees abreast of pertinent industry changes and system updatesIdentify and execute Customs consultative services and generate and facilitate leads for trade policyOther duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirementsRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMust possess Customs Broker License or be within the application processBecome or maintain Certified Customs Specialist status with the NCBFAAMinimum 2 years of experience working in Customs brokerage or other compliance/regulatory settingPreferred Qualifications:Extensive Knowledge of U.S. Customs entry processes and partner government agency regulationsAssociate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Strong communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skillsProven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needsHigh level of attention to detailAbility to work and communicate across the branch networkValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentEqual Opportunity and Affirmative Action EmployerC.H.
