Responsibilities for the Pro Fee Medical Coder job remote in US:
• Perform remote review of selected physician-based outpatient records using encoder software
• Perform a comprehensive review of physician-based outpatient discharges
• Review insurance denials • Perform review based on AHA and CMS ICD-10-CM official guidelines for coding and reporting; and AMA CPT and physician-based evaluation and management coding guidelines Qualifications
• Coding credential such as AHIMA's RHIA, RHIT, or CCS; or AAPC's CPC, CIC, or COC • 2+ years of pro fee (physician-based) coding and hospital outpatient preferred
• Established work site in their home and provide a high-speed internet connection
