Position Overview:

The Ecommerce Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for driving ecommerce sales through the strategic oversight, implementation and measurement of: consistent, best-in-class content across all digital marketplace product listings, sales promotion email marketing efforts, as well as consumer engagement programs encouraging loyalty & repeat purchases. This position will work closely with the marketing team and production team to manage new product launches and to maintain consistent and robust content and brand messaging on all digital platforms.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI, KPIs). Adjust and improve to achieve set goals. Specifically, as they pertain to:
    • Email Campaigns
    • SMS Campaigns
    • Out of the box marketing opportunities
    • Product giveaways and sampling
    • Loyalty Programs
  • Responsible for creating the ecommerce marketing calendar and coordinating those details and all multimedia content with the marketing team, marketplace manager, and the ecommerce site manager. Including:
    • Ecommerce product listing pages
    • Email marketing campaigns
    • SMS Campaigns
    • Website content
    • Seasonal/New product launches
  • Budgetary planning and oversight for all ecommerce marketing efforts across internal sites and external marketplaces, excluding SEM/PPC.
  • Develop annual integrated ecommerce marketing and content strategy in collaboration with Brand Managers, and oversee implementation of all campaigns, including:
    • Email marketing
    • Seasonal items
    • Planned promotions
    • Rewards & Loyalty program
  • Evaluate online consumer research, market conditions and competitor data for insights, and develop new and creative strategies for consumer engagement and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to develop and finalize D2C weekly promotional campaigns, including messaging, graphics, content, and offers/discounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to support ecommerce-related goals as they pertain to:
    • Social Media
    • Affiliate Marketing Programs
    • Influencer Marketing
    • Loyalty Programs
    • Email Campaigns
  • Share performance results with Marketing team and Ecommerce team for feedback & suggestions.
  • Measure and report effectiveness of optimized content syndication across product listings
  • Evaluate emerging ecommerce content and marketing technologies and tools, and make recommendations to leadership for implementation
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
