The Technical Services Engineer I performs post-sale, off-site, and on-site client-site work such as infrastructure reviews, networking, site design, hardware installation, cabling, virtualization, storage configuration, security reviews, backups, antivirus, Operating Systems installation and configuration\hardening, SQL Server installation and configuration\hardening, Active Directory configuration, database tuning, clustering, cloud deployments, software installations, Operating System, SQL and software upgrades, testing, disaster recovery, technical meetings, hardware and software maintenance, interface/integration installation and configuration on CentralSquare deployments as assigned.

  • Articulate technical and functional concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Requirements gathering
  • Learn CentralSquare’s software offerings in order to provide support for software implementations
  • Create and maintain project/implementation documentation

  • Curious and resourceful, someone who strives for understanding and drives for process improvement
  • Detail oriented; someone with strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • A self-starter with strong organization and analytical skills
  • What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree with relevant work experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in technical environment; hardware, software, operating systems, networking, telephony coding
  • Technical Skills in any OR all of the following areas; Microsoft or Linux based operating systems, relational database management systems – MS SQL, SSRS Reporting, Active Directory, AWS, etc.
