Saint Louis, Missouri /Technology – Technology /Full-timeApply for this jobHLK is seeking a data engineer to join our growing data solutions team. This person will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines to support analysis and delivery objectives of cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
Build custom data pipelines to provide clean, transformed data ready for analysis, integration or delivery Manage and optimize overall data pipeline orchestration Work closely with product owners and architects to evolve the data support portions of our measurement and reporting program Work closely with analysts to evolve our reporting and dashboarding capabilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, and/or significant relevant experience in the advertising / marketing / digital media space Significant experience writing SQL queries and managing large data sets Strong understanding of relational database systems, including how to optimize queries for performance and scalability Strong understanding of data security best practices and principles, and a willingness to work in an environment where security and privacy are a top priority Experience with Python, Jupyter, Docker, and other tools in the big data toolkit Experience with data lake concepts and platforms, and awareness of the differences between on-premises and cloud infrastructure A deep dedication to continuous improvement through iteration Able to frame a clear and concise perspective with audiences across the organization ABOUT HLK HLK is a creative and technology agency focused on understanding and changing audience behavior through deeply integrated brand experiences.
