About the role

The role of a Sales Advisor is to drive revenue by bringing new sellers into our Zillow Offers pipeline. You will introduce, educate, and engage potential sellers with the Zillow Offers platform, helping them understand why selling to Zillow might be the best option for them. Sales Development Advisors are required to cold call potential leads, handle inbound inquiries from existing leads, and get homeowners excited about selling to Zillow. Some independent lead generation will be required. This role requires a sales mindset, an entrepreneurial spirit with a high work ethic, and a closer mentality.

  • Bring new homeowners into the Zillow Offers process through cold calling, both via leads provided by Zillow Group and leads you have independently sourced
  • Source a high volume of new potential leads in your assigned territory
  • Able to do 80-100 dials a day
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential sellers via multiple channels (phone, email, text, etc.) to provide a selling experience that is tailored to the needs of each homeowner.
  • Ensure a positive client experience through your expertise in Zillow Offer’s systems and process, helping convert interested sellers into satisfied ZO customers
  • Execute a professional, consultative sales process designed to instill confidence in sellers and enable them to achieve their goals
  • Provide exemplary customer service to potential and existing customers, helping set expectations, answer questions, and partner with service providers
  • Localize your knowledge of real estate trends and market conditions based on your assigned market
  • Be an expert in Zillow Group’s portfolio of products and services
  • Ability to navigate multiple browsers and programs including sales dashboards, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

    Who you are

  • You have active real estate license in Texas
  • 3+ years of sales experience, inside or outside sales
  • Experience effectively presenting complicated information to potential clients over the phone
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive "can-do" attitude via the phone
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities, and timelines to achieve results
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and change. This is a start-up environment!
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with For Sale By Owner sellers is a plus
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
  • Available to work non-conventional hours (homeowners may need to be reached on mornings, nights, or weekends)
  • In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for variable incentives and/or equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
