Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
A bit about us:
We are a healthcare analytics startup that uses NLP to draw insights and data from medical records and provide healthcare providers with insights into patient outcomes, morbidity, etc, all in a effort to improve patient care experiences and patient outcomes.
We are entering an exciting growth chapter in which we are hiring a data scientist to build, scale, and optimize our NLP and Machine Learning models to create the most effective and accurate models in the industry. Our platform leverages NLP to scan through thousands of EMR (electronic medical records) to draw insights from patient data that can be critical to improving the patient care experience.
We are looking for someone with:
- 4+ years of Data Science and analytics experience
- Expertise with Python or Scala in applied ML
- Strong understanding of NLP techniques
- Capability to deploy models to the cloud or use data streaming tools such as Spark
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases
- Expertise with data visualization tools to help "tell a story" leveraging data
- Strong communication skills
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Bonus points for prior healthcare , EMR, claims, or related industry analytics experience
