The VP of Payer-Provider Solution Commercialization will be focused on the design of and go to market strategy development and execution for complex healthcare IT solutions. Success in this role will be evaluated on the ability to build and deliver solutions that will effectively align to shared payer and provider requirements, result in exceptional client satisfaction ratings, and achieve business development targets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial processes of new business development
  • Develop go to market strategy for new products and services
  • Responsible for meeting business development targets
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for solution development and optimization
  • Leads discussions with Product Management to represent capabilities and features at team level
  • Define external and internal partnership needs and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure outstanding and consistent customer service
  • Responsible for the integrity of operational sales processes, including building engagement budgets, ensuring adequate human resources, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Responsible for meeting profitability targets for specific engagements
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer and product needs
  • Become a recognized Senior voice of the business to the team and to the market through thought leadership activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience working in leadership positions across health plans and/or providers
  • 5+ years of experience with product strategy, commercialization, and/or business development
  • Experience developing Payer/Provider strategic initiatives
  • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to transform businesses through business, product, and capability development (From initial vision all the way through execution and the establishment of successful and sustainable new businesses)
  • Demonstrated ability to create clarity and focus in ambiguity
  • A strong action orientation and ability to drive teams in a large, complex environment
  • Strong experience in the employer, payer, provider, and/or direct to consumer markets
  • Experience working with health care providers and the health care delivery system
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders/executives as well as cross functional teams at all levels
  • Demonstrated strong people management and influencing skills with proven ability and enthusiasm to lead, motivate, inspire, develop, and encourage people, from C-level suite to individual contributors in multiple functional areas.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience
