Role: IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Remote

Type: Contract

Apex Systems, a national leader in IT Solutions, is searching for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager. This is a contract role and fully remote ! Apex is supporting an acquisition for a large client and needing an Infrastructure PM who has working experience supporting various sites and integrations. Experience with Office365, Networking, Routers, Switches, Desktops, Access Points, Printers, Conference Room Hardware, etc. is needed. Please see below for additional details!

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating, leading, and managing project meetings and collaboration sessions
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, status decks, sprint plans and action items
  • Create project commitment plans evaluating effort, headcount, costs, risks, etc., and present to executive leadership for approval
  • Work with the project team to identify the level of effort required for tasks or projects. Work with cross-functional departments to ensure they are engaged and prepared to implement new project initiatives including associated process changes
  • Coordinating and facilitating communication between departments and project team members to ensure project team alignment
  • Enforce process and procedure. Produce, manage, and report on project plans
  • Documenting results
  • Risk identification, mitigation, and issue management
  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years project management experience in a networking environment
  • Experience with Office365, Networking, Routers, Switches, Desktops, Access Points, Printers, Conference Room Hardware, etc
  • Working experience in an Agile environment, as well as Agile Project Management processes
  • Hands on experience with JIRA
  • Experienced partnering with vendors, engaging stakeholders, and navigating organizational integrations
