Job Description
Provides business-to-business (B2B) writing, editing, project management and marketing communications consultative services to assigned business areas (Aetna Group Medicare). Marketing researches, plans, creates, promotes and delivers high quality, affordably priced health insurance/health benefits plans. It plays an important part in understanding customer needs, and attracting new business as well as in retaining customers.
Provides writing, editing, project management and marketing communications consultative services to assigned businesses.

Proactive in advising multiple communications strategies for business area(s). Consults with customer(s), which may include Senior Management, on marketing/communications initiatives critical to SBU/SSU success. Plans, researches, writes and edits communications materials (e.g., publications, marketing materials, ads, speeches, scripts, special events, trade shows, meetings). Manages communications projects (e.g., budget, resources, production, distribution, evaluation). Aids desktop publishing, print production, and fulfillment services for marketing/communication projects.

Design, produce and deploy B2B marketing communications materials using multiple modes of media, including presentations, emails, articles, proposal materials and more.
Work directly with internal partners to establish project objectives, establish key messages, set timelines and manage projects to completion under tight deadlines.
Collaborate with project managers and teammates to identify new ways to communicate for impact and translate into highly effective sales materials.

Required Qualifications
Professional with 3+ years professional communications experience.
Senior professional with 5+ years in communications or editorial work related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in health insurance marketing and/or communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills interfacing with all levels
Proven ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
Demonstrated success delivering work in a multi-project team-oriented environment
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, copywriting and editing, with graphic design skills a plus

Education
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications
