This role supports cyclical reporting that evaluates the E&I ACO Program Performance governed by contractual obligations. Program goal is to facilitate clinical integration and coordination while promoting quality and efficiency in the ACO Provider’s delivery of health care. Consultant will produce financial statements, create data analysis, and produce ACO Program deliverables for both internal and external customers.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Managing book of ACO Program customers owning report production, issue resolutions and interpretation of key indicators
  • Analyze claim utilization, capitation and membership data in support of the Program goals
  • Support projects to completion by performing adhoc analysis, statistical modeling and financial reports

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of financial, accounting or auditing experience
  • Proficient with MS Access and Excel for data analysis and presentation
  • Ability to work with and manage large amounts of data
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical cost or healthcare financial analysis experience
  • Experience with SQL or SAS for data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc)
  • Excellent facilitation, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

    Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
