We’re working with one of our favorite partners on a significant data initiative, and are searching for a seasoned and experienced Tableau consultant who will be the Tableau subject matter expert on a smart and motivated team, on a fast moving project. We’re looking for someone who really knows the ins and outs of Tableau, from building templates for dashboards to configuring and managing the API, setting up Tableau processes, combined with BI experience such as data ingestion and warehousing etc.
You’ll be closely integrating with our client and helping to launch their Tableau efforts.
What you’ll be doing:
Define Tableau best practices and supervise Tableau implementation
Tableau API configuration and management
Author Tableau templates and deliver exceptional and accurate data visualizations and dashboards
Collaborate with small team and data scientists to create accurate reporting
Work with product teams and analysts to gather and understand data requirements
What you bring to the table:
Deep experience within the entire Tableau ecosystem (API, Templating etc.), beyond creating dashboards
6+ years total BI reporting experience
SQL experience + experience with a range of data warehouses such as Apache Spark (Databricks) etc.
Strong ability to convert business requirements to wireframes/dashboards
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, cross functional experience
Report/dashboard design experience
Passion for effective data visualization and BI
