About the Role
Our Senior Consultants specializing in Data Platform are hands-on technologists, building and deploying modern data platform solutions that address our clients' needs to uncover insights, improve decision making, and enable digital transformation strategies. We look for high performers who are self-motivated and ready to collaborate and engage with their team. Typical backgrounds include a depth of experience in data warehouses or data lake solutions on the Microsoft platform, overseeing aspects of technical delivery, and the ability to work independently. Industry leadership experience in healthcare providers, healthcare payors, banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, or higher education is a big plus.
Desired Skills:
- 7+ years professional experience with data warehouse or modern data platform solutions featuring SQL Server or Azure
- 2+ years of hands-on experience using Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and/or Azure Synapse Analytics
- Experience as a technical delivery lead for modern analytics, modern data warehouse, data lake, or data lake house solutions
- Comfortable translating technical solutions into business-specific terms, and effectively communicating ROI
- Self-starter, self-managed, quick learner, problem-solver with a positive, collaborative, and team-based attitude
- Excellent communication skills and strong engagement with other team members and clients stakeholders
- Willingness to coach and mentor others to build their capacity and skills for data/analytics
- Degree in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or related field
- Ability to work remotely, at a home-office, with up to 25% overnight travel to clients across the U.S.
- Authorization to work in the U.S., without the requirement for an employment visa or sponsorship
