Job title: Sr. WordPress Developer u2013 RemoteOn-site/Remote: RemoteRequirements:Minimum education: BachelorIT skills (must have): WordPress 5 year(s) of experience JavaScript 5 year(s) of experience PHP 5 year(s) of experience jQuery 5 year(s) of experience REST API 5 year(s) of experience Job Responsibilities: Creating custom WordPress themes from scratch Establishing and guiding the website u2019s architecture through design and implementing new features/functionality Ensuring high-performance and availability, while managing all technical aspects and keeping site speed is up to industry standards Formulate an effective, responsive design, turning it into a working theme and plugin Build responsive functional web pages from wireframes, mockups, and requirements Improve and revise existing web pages to be responsive, modern, and compliant Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix problems as they arise Manage multiple partner web agencies and vendors as required to accomplish departmental website goals on-time and in-budget Develop and implement protocols for testing, tracking and measuring performance and continually optimize for maximum impact and results (i.e. lead conversion) Key Competencies: Knowledgeable in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery Experience building user interfaces for websites including strong working knowledge within HubSpot and HubSpot landing pages Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Understanding of web hosting and basic server administration Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of marketing and digital marketing concepts including SEO and performance Impact/results-driven and organized u2013 highly accountable, thinks business first, sets clear objectives and goals, delivers results. Strong self-management and project management skills Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, goal-driven and accountable environment Ideal Background: At least 4 years of experience in front-end development with a focus in WordPress Proficiency in HTML, JS, CSS, and PHP SQL database experience Experience with MAMP, WAMP or local environments Clear understanding of front-end development and familiarity with back-end technologies Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining web applications including security, hosting, and user management. Experience with Kinsta and/or Pantheon preferred.
