REMOTE - Power Distribution Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is searching for skilled electric/utility design engineers at all levels to support a growing team servicing the power distribution industry. We are looking for individuals with at least one year of professional experience completing electrical distribution designs for road widening, overhead, underground, voltage conversions, conductor replacements, and conversion projects from overhead to underground. On a daily basis, this person will be designing engineering work packages for utility companies using various design software. The person will also learn how to perform quality analysis and check of designs to ensure client specifications are met. There is lots of room for advancement in this role!

Minimum Requirements

- 1 year of design experience related to electric utility, power distribution, telecom, or related field

- Proficiency using BOUD, CAD, DDS, or any other related drafting software

- Associate or Bachelors degree in engineering, or related certification
