Discovery Senior Living is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Texas region of communities.

This is a remote opportunity for folks in the Dallas, TX market.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates for high volume positions in an assigned region. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring Discovery Senior Living (DSL) is hiring top tier talent in all markets served.

Responsibilities:

  • Sources qualified candidates via job sites, databases, networking etc.
  • Creates partnerships with schools, workforce commissions and other organizations to build potential talent pool.
  • Attends recruiting events such as job fairs.
  • Manages the Applicant Tracking System for the assigned positions/region.
  • Pre-screen candidates to determine potential cultural fit, qualifications and work history. Makes recommendation to hiring managers and coordinates next steps.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers post interview.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers on hiring decisions and job offers.
  • Successfully organizes and balance requisitions for different locations.
  • Provide weekly updates on candidate sourcing, and placement activity.
  • Work with hiring managers for each location on additional sourcing strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with hiring managers.

Qualifications:

  • Two years + of related, demonstrated experience in recruitment or human resources.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or other high-volume setting preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business management or a related field.

Some travel required.

Benefits: $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
