A Los Angeles public company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. Reporting to an Accounting Manager that we placed, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with accounts payable and month-end close. What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2-4 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
What will you do in this Staff Accountant role?
- Code invoices
- Manage full cycle accounts receivable and employee expense reimbursements
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries
- Provide documentation when needed
- Ad hoc reporting
- Assist with special projects and communicate with multiple departments
