About your Role: · Complete initial intake and orientation for prospective Family Care Providers· Complete initial and annual background checks for FCPs/individuals living in provider home· Complete initial interview as part of assessment for caregiving· Conduct initial, semi-annual and annual home inspections· Assess goodness of fit for caregiving · Assessment on-going capacity for caregiving through stainable boundaries, physical wellness, compliance with certification standards, and ability to provide a stable, safe and nurturing home · Write initial home study evaluations and annual home study amendments for Family Care Providers reflecting assessment and appropriateness for caregiving as a Family Care Provider· Maintain Family Care Provider files, ensuring all documentation is up to date· Coordinate completion of initial and annual training for Family Care Providers· Prepare Family Care Providers for caregiving though formal and informal trainings during the certification process and continuously post certification though monthly trainings and support groups· Provide on-going relational and caregiving support, appreciation, building on Family Care Provide expertise as well as support though life and family challenges or transitions· Address Family Care Provider performance issues and incidents jeopardizing certification status · Provide and document face-to-face and indirect support to Family Care Providers at least once per month· Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company Does the Following Apply to You?
  • Master’s Degree with one (1) year of experience or Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years of experience in social work, child development, counseling or psychology or any related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proof of valid Driver License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
  • CPR/First Aid – provided by agency
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – provided by agency
  • Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
