You will also be helping to grow our test automation team and lead the quality process of our software releases. Ideal candidates should be team orientated, with great communication skills.Awesome Things You'll Do: + Contribute, as part of a QA team, towards organizational goal of providing extremely high quality, robust software products.+ Design and run appropriate automated test cases through all stages of the software lifecycle.+ Design, maintain, and utilize automation test frameworks.+ Work with software engineers to analyze test results and debug problems.+ Translate assigned end-user requirements into fully documented test cases and scripts in accordance with approved test plans.+ Create and execute efficient database queries to support, perform, or validate test cases.+ Interact with QA test team and other groups to identify, create, and maintain test data needed to execute test cases.+ Execute test cases and scripts manually, using automated test tools, and through database queries.+ Evaluate results of test execution and records, retest, and follow defects through to resolution when expected results are not achieved.+ Report progress and issues to management and participate in test team status meetings as required.+ Participate in review of project requirements to understand test objectives and to provide input on testability of requirements.What You Will Bring: + 5+ years practical test automation experience.+ Ability to identify and create appropriate test cases, scripts for automation and regression testing.+ Well versed in various agile methodologies (SCRUM, Lean, Kanban, SAFe).+ Comprehension of test management, defect tracking, and requirements management tools, JIRA preferred.+ Specific experience using Selenium, TestNG/Junit and/or Jenkins preferred.+ Knowledge of manual functional testing+ Self-starting and creative, thinks outside the box, able to identify edge cases and hard-to-find use cases.+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical/problem-solving skills required.+ Basic programming skills (Java, Python, XML, Bash, JavaScript, etc.) required.+ Experience in API testing and testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, JMeter) preferred.+ Experience in cross-browser testing (Chrome, IE/Edge, Firefox) required.+ Experience testing in Linux, Windows and Mac OS.+ Bachelor's degree in tech-related area preferred.What Does Success Look Like?+ It is being part of a leading team in innovating and improving the approach on software QA. + You are vital to the development of a test automation solution to support our functional testing team. + I am participating in learning opportunities both professionally and technically. + Success is the opportunity for growth in test automation to include other areas such as performance engineering.About Our BenefitsJAGGAER offers you a flexible schedule & an exceptional work/life balance.
