A Salesforce end user in the Higher Education space is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join a rapidly expanding and robust team of Salesforce professionals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background on Salesforce Lightning to the table, and thrives in a fast paced, start-up environment. This person will join a team of two (2) Salesforce Developers, multiple Product Managers, Administrators, and ancillary functional resources. Job Requirements:
- Experience as a Salesforce Developer on Salesforce Lightning
- Proficient with custom APEX, Web Components (Lightning & Aura), SFDX, Git, VS Code, queuable & batchable APEX classes, etc
- Timely and accurate completion of translated technical requirements from functional counterparts
- Experience with HTML / CSS, JavaScript, VisualForce Pages, SQL / SOQL / SOSL
- Experience with either implementation or solution redesign of Salesforce Experience [fka Communities] Cloud
- Comfortable with declarative tools on the Lightning platform (Process Builder, Workflow, FlowBuilder, etc)
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Certifications listed below are in order of relevance. These are preferred but not required - hands-on experience is also heavily considered
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Certified Sharing & Visibility Designer, Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Integration Architect, System Architect
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies highly preferred (Agile Practitioner / CSM / PMP certifications are taken into great consideration)
- Bachelor's (B.S.) Degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field(s)
Essential Functions:
- Act as a key point of contact for technical requirements
- Work on a robust team but be able to work independently
- Be comfortable interfacing cross functionally with various business unit leaders
- Question around and work to identify areas of improvement for given technical requirements
- Confidently act as a key resource for your team and lead by example with Salesforce best practices and highly efficient design patterns
- Stay current on new features of application to ensure company is utilizing the application as effectively as possible
Salary is negotiable based on experience ($140k-$160k) with a comprehensive benefits package, which will include: 401k match, dental, vision, medical and more. Company perks and an enjoyable work environment will all factor into your position as a Salesforce Developer.
